Refund Policy
Last updated July 2026
There are two different kinds of payment on Solo Show, with two different refund policies — because the money flows to two different places.
Artwork purchases (buyer → artist)
When you buy artwork on an artist's site, you are buying directly from the artist. Payment goes to the artist's own Stripe account — Solo Show never holds it and takes no commission. Refunds and returns for artwork are therefore the artist's decision and responsibility:
- Contact the artist first — reply to your order confirmation email and it reaches them directly, or use the contact page on their site.
- Artists issue refunds through their own Stripe account; refunded orders are reflected automatically on Solo Show.
- If something's gone genuinely wrong and you can't reach the artist, write to us at support@soloshow.app — we can't issue their refunds, but we can help make contact and we take patterns of buyer complaints seriously.
Subscriptions (artist → Solo Show)
- The 14-day free trial requires no payment method, so there's nothing to refund — try everything except selling before paying a dollar.
- Monthly plans: cancel any time and your plan simply doesn't renew; you keep access through the period you've paid for. We don't prorate partial months.
- Annual plans: if an annual purchase was a mistake, contact us within 14 days of payment for a full refund. After that, cancellation stops renewal and access runs to the end of the paid year.
- Remember: when any subscription ends, your site pauses but nothing is deleted — resubscribing restores everything instantly.
